Bio

Gordon Harlow is a Florida native currently residing in St.Petersburg. He’s had a lifelong career in the arts starting a pet portrait business at the age of 13, curating local art shows, playing guitar at Tampa’s Straz Center and performing all around the Tampa Bay area. He creates works that are more indelicate in nature which typically display personal incidents, question social and political norms or transform the unsavory into the elegant. Harlow’s intent is to make pieces which remove the observer from their life’s trappings and into a place of uninhibited curiosity. People often lose their inquisitiveness, and through art one’s choices, circumstances and society must be challenged, reinvigorated and reimagined .
